Fisher is an accomplished software architect and developer, with over 20 years
of experience, as well as 14 patents filed with the U.S. Patent Office, in
hardware, software, security and systems engineering. In his current role as a
Software Engineer at Revivio, Inc., Michel focuses his efforts on detailed code
creation and analysis, driving product performance and scalability assessments
in both lab and customer environments, as well as writing diagnostic tools.
Prior to joining Revivio, Michel was a Senior Consulting Design Engineer at EMC,
Corp where his duties included acting as the "on call" expert and
trouble-shooter for all of EMC's divisions. As a Lead Due Diligence Engineer at
EMC, Michel also worked closely with the corporate mergers, acquisitions and
investment groups within the company on new product prototyping, developing
crucial technology and algorithms, and transitioning new technologies into
appropriate development groups for customer delivery. Prior to EMC, Michel
worked as an Independent Consultant with some of the country's leading
technology companies. Michel has been a regular contributor to many of the
leading standards and industry groups including the Storage Networking Industry
Association (SNIA), the Distributed Management Task Force (DMTF) and the
Broadband Content Delivery Forum (BCDF).
